Purchasing FAQ

Answers to help you choose products, prepare specifications and plan your order.

How do I request several products and sizes together?

Use the desktop bulk selector to enter quantities against the required sizes. Submit the combined enquiry list so we can prepare your quotation.

How are steel grades and thicknesses specified?

We list the worktop or bowl material, support material and thickness separately in the quotation. For an all-304 unit, explicitly request 304 for the entire product, including the supports. Standard 304 configurations normally use 201 supports.

Are the listed dimensions the overall assembled size?

Yes. Overall dimensions include projecting parts. A separate “+100” backsplash notation means a 100 mm-high backsplash; check the drawing for the exact configuration.

Should I choose two-tier, three-tier or sliding-door storage?

Choose open shelves according to the storage levels you need. Two-tier units have one lower shelf; three-tier units add another level. Sliding-door cabinets conceal supplies and help protect them from dust and kitchen splashes while saving door-opening space.

What should I consider when placing heavy equipment on a worktable?

Our general load reference is 200 kg/m². A thicker worktop and matched supports can improve capacity. For heavy equipment, send its weight, footprint and support-point layout so we can recommend the construction for that load.

Does the thickness option apply to every component?

The selected thickness normally refers to the main worktop, not the legs or supports. We match the supporting construction to the chosen worktop thickness and specify it in the quotation.

Can you leave space for equipment below the worktop?

Yes. We can customise clearance for bins, refrigerators or other equipment. Changing the lower shelf height is a custom configuration, not a standard adjustment feature.

Should I choose a backsplash for a wall or island table?

For wall installations, a backsplash helps keep water, oil and debris out of the wall gap. For access from several sides, a flat worktop is generally more practical. Tell us if you need a special water-retaining edge.

Can I order castors and a different final height?

Yes. Castors are a custom option. We offer 50–75 mm-diameter castors with double brakes and can customise the final worktop height.

What is the internal sink bowl size?

The standard single-bowl reference is 450 × 410 × 230 mm, with 230 mm as depth. This is the bowl’s internal size, not the overall sink size. Other bowl sizes and depths can be customised.

How do I confirm the drainboard side?

Our usual drainboard is on the right. We can provide a drawing for you to confirm the side and orientation before production.

Are tap holes and drain fittings included?

Tap holes are not drilled by default because local fittings vary. Tell us before production if you need holes. The drain opening and drainage fittings are included as standard.

Can shelf spacing and load requirements be changed?

Shelf spacing can be adjusted. Send your required load per shelf, such as 300 kg or 500 kg, so we can review a suitable configuration; those figures are requirements, not standard ratings.

How is an overshelf fitted to its worktable?

The overshelf uses corner-clamp mounting and is matched to the accompanying worktable size. If ordering it separately for an existing table, identify that table when enquiring.

What tools and instructions are needed for assembly?

Core fasteners and dedicated tools are generally supplied. Have a screwdriver, spanner and spirit level available, and protect the worktop during assembly. We provide an installation video; follow the instructions for your actual model.
